In collaboration with the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC) and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), around 200 workmen were enrolled and trained in the trades of Aerospace Structural Fitter and Aerospace CNC Machinist. To date, 100 workmen have been assessed and 75 awarded “Certificate of Upskilling,” with assessment for the remaining 125 underway. HAL Nasik plans to train an additional 180 workmen under the scheme. The initiative has been well received by the workforce, and the continued support from NSDC has been instrumental in its success.

What are the criteria to achieve pay-out milestones for Skill India Centers?

Training cost will be paid in three tranches on achieving 3 different milestones.  
i. Tranche 1 (30%): On Commencement of training 
ii. Tranche 2 (30%): On batch achieving 70% AEBAS attendance once and 50 % of the training is over. 
iii. Tranche 3 (40%): On Certification (passed candidates only) 
iv. Additionally, 50% of the approved Discounted CCN cost will be paid for OJT Hours
